(The tilting is to give a sense of insecurity or instability of how the aged couples are moving in shaky steps)
Sometimes, a simple helping hand is much worthy than what you may have expected. I took this picture today. I was some thirty steps away from them when I saw the scene: the old man was walking in shaky steps, with one hand on a walking stick and the other on his wife’s shoulder. The old lady was not much better with her movement. The old man walked by literally moving inch by inch. The problem was that they had crossed the road and was about to move a step up to the sidewalk.
How could the old man do it with his tiny steps?
In anticipation of the danger, I speeded my pace up to take this picture and offered help which they might need. No sooner had I pressed the shutter than the old man was tripped and about to drag his wife with him to fall down backwards. It was just in time for me to hold the man by his arm and stop the lady from falling with my arm at her back.
Help someone this Sunday. Have a good day!
