Living With Rubbish

(Sony A55) A mid-2011 report revealed that one fifth of the population in Hong Kong lived below the poverty line.  Considering the runaway inflation, I dare say that the number has increased much in the past twelve months.  It's a shame that while there are so many social problems requiring a fix, the government with the widely-guessed CCP-member CY at the helm has been busying amending what has been proved crucial to the liberal civic society of Hong Kong.

Rubbish Lady

(Sony A55) A shameful scene in a rich city like Hong Kong.

Pulling

(Leica X1) The next second the guy protested, "Hey, hey, hey, why are you shooting us?"

Taking a Respite

(Leica D-lux 5) Happy mid-week!

Hot Guys

(Leica D-lux 5) For the record, I’d better state my Facebook personal particulars here --Interested in: women.

Fishing with Kids

(Leica D-Lux 5) The new school year is starting next week. Some schools require lower form students to attend classes briefly this week to better warm them up after the summer respite. With the generally hectic school schedule, enjoying fishing with family after school is less likely when the academic year rolls off. This photo was taken at the North Point Ferry Pier inside which some seafood shops frank the way leading to the pier entrance / exit. The open market nearby also offers good street photo op.

Broken Umbrella

(Ricoh GX200) This is Sunday, shortly rainy in some part of Hong Kong.
