A Kind of Fish

(Leica D-Lux 5) The title is gonna give some sexual overtone otherwise.

Harbour Side

(Leica D-Lux 5) Hong Kong was briefly visited by a storm last night and everything has now returned to normal for some weekend fun with friends.

Motley of Colour

(Leica D-Lux 5) This shot was taken at the famous Apliu Street in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong, where the locals go for all sorts of out-of-this-world electronic parts and appliances. The district is also known as the mecca for computer geeks from around the world for the Golden Computer Shopping Centre is situated just a stone's throw away from the Shui Shui Po MTR station. The computer centre fest (Chinese site only) is now on and shoppers can snap up bargain items galore.

Old Peddler

(Sony A55) Enjoy!

In Her Own World

(Leica D-Lux 5) The one thing I like about this image is the enchanted facial expression of the lady, the non-existence of pedestrian flow on her side of the street and the contrast of light -- the right side is more brightly lit to rightly highlight her as the primary subject -- are combined together to emit the sense of her being in a self-confined world (of music).  But mark you, dear readers, don't be less attentive of the world around you while moving in the street.  I just twisted my ankle as I read email on the phone on the go, and am confined to home now. It is swelling to the size of two eggs in the affected area.

Wake Up!

(Sony A55) Hey, time to go to work. You’re gonna be late!

Afterglow

(Sony A55) The Olympics is coming to a close. We are interested to know if the closing ceremony will give as the presentation of the opening ceremony the same humanistic feel, which was distinctly different from the impeccably over-the-top performance of the last games.
